Use of the GDSC WMS services keeps rising!

In the first month after the GDSC WMS services came on-line (in april 2009 with Aster, Aerodata and DKLN data) no more than 1GB of data was downloaded. At the end of February 2010, the amount of WMS data serviced to clients had grown to more than 22GB in one month!

And all this data was serviced by the WMS server developed by NLR, by that proving it's reliability and capacitiy.

We see in the GDSC system log that there are a lot of regular users of our WMS services. It's good to see because that's why we set up these services: to show how easy it is to use aerial photography and satellite imagery if brought to you by services build on OGC standards.

But it makes us curious. Who are these users? For what application are they using it? What can we do to improve our services to them?
